SS series separator cartridge is necessary secondary filter after coalescer cartridge, this hydrophobic separator filter is an irreplaceable part of complete natural gas filter system. As professional separator filter cartridge, it adopts PTFE coated stainless steel separator filter element to repel tiny liquid mist that fails to settle after coalescing process. This separator cartridge filter only allows dry gas to pass through, prevents liquid from being re-carried by gas flow and causing secondary corrosion to pipeline equipment. If lack qualified separator filter cartridge, the dewatering effect of front coalescer filter cartridge will be greatly reduced, and the service life of whole gas filter cartridge will be shortened. Working Principle of SS Separator Cartridge

After raw gas passes PCHG coalescer cartridge, tiny residual liquid mist flows to SS separator filter cartridge. The PTFE hydrophobic layer of separator filter element completely repels water and hydrocarbon droplets, these intercepted droplets gather on the outer surface of separator cartridge filter and drop down by gravity. Only dry purified gas can penetrate the mesh structure of separator filter and flow to downstream pipeline. This special separation mechanism makes outlet gas liquid residue less than 8ppm, greatly improve the overall purification performance of the whole gas filter equipment, avoid frequent maintenance of natural gas filter caused by liquid carryover.
