This professional coalescer filter element adopts multi-gradient spiral fiberglass composite media, which can capture 0.1μm micro water mist, hydrocarbon aerosols and pipeline rust inside raw natural gas filter medium. The special seamless winding structure of the coalescer cartridge expands liquid contact area greatly to realize complete demulsification, merging tiny scattered droplets into large gravity-settling liquid beads. Without qualified gas filter cartridge coalescing components, compressors, flowmeters and pressure regulating valves will suffer severe corrosion and blockage caused by liquid impurities, leading to frequent equipment shutdown and high maintenance costs.

Working Principle of PCHG Coalescer Filter Cartridge

Unpurified raw natural gas flows from outside to inside through the PCHG coalescer filter cartridge. The outer coarse interception layer first traps large solid slag and pipeline scale; the middle gradient fiberglass layer is the core functional layer of the coalescer filter element, which adsorbs emulsified micro liquid droplets and gathers them into visible large liquid drops. After full coalescence treatment, condensed liquid falls to the vessel’s bottom storage tank, while dry purified natural gas passes through the inner core and flows out as qualified medium. The liquid removal efficiency of this coalescer cartridge reaches 99.98%, far higher than ordinary single-layer natural gas filter without gradient coalescing media. This two-stage gas-liquid separation process is widely matched with supporting gas filter element separator cartridges to build complete purification systems.
