Particulates, liquids, and contaminants in natural gas, LPG, or coal gas damage meters, regulators, and burners—causing inaccurate measurement, component wear, or flame instability. The LeFilter Standard Gas Filter addresses this with multi-precision filtration (1–300μm), a non-stop element replacement design, and pressure ratings up to 6.4MPa. Ideal for gas transmission stations, urban networks, and industrial burners, it ensures clean gas flow, extending equipment lifespan by 50% and cutting unplanned shutdowns by 70%.
Gas enters through the inlet and reaches the filter element that reduces the flow rate. Large solid and liquid particles separate from the gas and gather at the bottom of the container. When gas flows from the outside to the inside, residual solid particles are retained (particle size depends on the level of the sea core filter), and clean gas flows towards the outlet.
The LeFilter Standard Gas Filter operates in 3 key steps:
Gas Inlet & Deceleration: Gas enters through the inlet flange, flowing into the filter shell. The internal structure (e.g., baffle) reduces gas velocity, allowing large particles and liquid droplets to settle due to inertia.
Precision Filtration: Gas passes through the filter element, where solid particles (≥ filter precision) and emulsified liquid are trapped on the media surface. Clean gas flows radially toward the outlet.
Contaminant Discharge: Trapped particles and liquid collect at the bottom of the filter shell. Periodic manual or automatic (via drain valve) removes contaminants, ensuring continuous operation.
Large filtration area, high flow rate, low pressure loss, long service life, high efficiency, easy to use, install and maintain. Its forms mainly include coaxial flange type and angular flange type. This series of filters can be equipped with a differential pressure gauge as required to display the blockage of the filter element, making it easier for users to understand whether the filter element should be cleaned. The filter element is made of materials such as stainless steel metal mesh and chemical fibers, with a filtration accuracy of up to 1-5um.

Purifies incoming gas from pipelines, removing dust and rust to protect downstream meters and regulators. A Xinjiang gate station reduced meter failure rates by 80% after installing LeFilter filters.
② Urban Gas Networks
Installed upstream of pressure regulation stations in cities, it ensures clean gas supply to residential and commercial users, preventing burner clogging in boilers or stoves.
③ Industrial Furnaces & Kilns
In ceramic, metallurgical, or glass factories, it cleans gas for burners, improving combustion efficiency and reducing NOx emissions. A Hebei steel mill cut fuel consumption by 12% with purified gas.
④ Gas-Fired Power Plants
Pre-treats gas for turbines or generators, preventing blade erosion and ensuring stable power output. A Guangdong power plant extended turbine maintenance intervals from 6 months to 1 year.
Q1: How to choose the right filter element?
A1: Consider 3 factors:
Gas cleanliness requirement: e.g., 10μm for general pipelines, 1μm for gas turbines.
Contaminant type: Fiberglass for ultra-fine particles, stainless steel mesh for heavy debris.
Operating conditions: Polyester fiber for high-dirt environments (e.g., coal gas).
Q2: How often should I replace the filter element?
A2: Depends on gas quality and flow. With a differential pressure gauge, replace when pressure loss exceeds 0.025MPa (typically every 3–12 months). In dirty gas (e.g., coal gas), check monthly.
Q3: Can it handle corrosive gases?
A3: No—this model is for non-corrosive gases (e.g., natural gas, LPG). For corrosive media (e.g., hydrogen sulfide), contact us for customized anti-corrosion versions (e.g., 316L stainless steel).
Q4: Is custom sizing available?
A4: Yes—we offer non-standard diameters, pressure ratings, or special coatings (e.g., anti-sulfur) for unique projects.
