Velcon I-622C5 belongs to the extended-size lineup of Velcon classic I-series coalescing filters. Different from the threaded-base I-622C5TB version, this model adopts plain smooth end caps for traditional clamp-type housing installation.
With a 22-inch full-length gradient hydrophilic fiberglass structure, the I-622C5 provides larger flux volume and longer service life than standard short coalescers. It effectively solves common fuel problems such as turbidity, emulsification and fine particle contamination, ensuring stable fuel cleanliness for long-term continuous fuel transfer and processing systems.
Working Principle
The I-622C5 adopts inside-to-out progressive coalescing filtration:The outer gradient fiber layer disperses high-speed fuel flow and intercepts large sediment, rust and mechanical impurities to prevent premature clogging.The inner high-hydrophilic fiberglass layer captures micron-level emulsified water droplets suspended in fuel.Tiny water droplets collide, adsorb and polymerize under continuous fluid shear force, forming large water beads.Water separates from fuel by gravity settlement, achieving complete water-oil separation and dry fuel output.
