Working Principle of ST Separator Cartridge

After raw gas passes JMG coalescer filter cartridge, tiny residual mist flows to ST separator filter cartridge. The wide stainless mesh with PTFE hydrophobic layer of separator filter element fully blocks water and hydrocarbon droplets, only allowing dry pure gas to penetrate the filter layer. Trapped liquid gathers on outer mesh surface of separator cartridge filter and falls by gravity, no secondary liquid entrainment even under maximum pipeline flow rate. This wide-channel separator filter solves the high pressure drop defect of narrow small separator cartridge, perfectly suit heavy-duty gas cartridge filter large vessel working conditions.
