Bag Cage

Overview

Bag Cage is the rigid supporting skeleton for filter bags inside pulse jet dust collectors. It is engineered to be lightweight, structurally stable and easy to install, inspect and maintain. The manufacturing quality of the bag cage has a direct and critical impact on the running status and service life of the matched filter bag. Rough welding spots, deformed wires or uneven frames will continuously scrape and abrade the filter media, causing premature bag damage, dust leakage and increased maintenance costs. We produce customized bag cages to fit various working conditions, including high temperature, high humidity and corrosive flue gas environments. Different outline shapes, wire densities, top connection structures and surface protection treatments are available to match standard and non-standard filter bags. All our cages are welded neatly with smooth polishing, no sharp burrs that could hurt the filter fabric.

Q1: What shapes of Bag Cage can you provide? 

A1: We have round, oval, flat and envelope style bag cages for selection. Round type is the most widely used, while flat and envelope styles are made for special dust collector housing space.

Q2: What materials are available for the Bag Cage? 

A2: Low carbon steel is the cost-effective regular option. Galvanized steel provides basic anti-rust performance. Stainless steel is recommended for humid, acid and corrosive flue gas conditions.

Q3: Can you do Teflon coating for the Bag Cage? 

A3: Yes. Teflon finish, epoxy coating, powder coating and organic silicon coating are all supported. Teflon coating works well for sticky dust and corrosive gas.

Q4: How many vertical wires can the Bag Cage have? 

A4: Optional quantity: 8, 10, 12, 18, 20, 24 vertical wires. More vertical wires offer better roundness support and reduce the risk of filter bag collapse during dust cleaning.

Q5: Do you make split type multi-piece Bag Cage? 

A5: Yes, multi-piece body design is available. Split cage is suitable for narrow dust collector access openings, making installation and replacement much easier without removing large surrounding equipment.
