Bag Dust Collector (MC Series)

Overview

Bag Dust Collector (MC Series) uses needle felt filter bags for dust filtration and reverse pulse compressed air to clean filter media. Dust-laden gas flows into the filter chamber, dust is captured on the outer surface of filter bags, and clean air passes through the filter bags and discharges from the top. When the pressure difference across the bag reaches a preset value, the pulse valve opens. Compressed air is injected into the center of the bags through nozzles, inducing surrounding air to rush into the bags. The expansion force shakes off dust attached to the bag surface. After dust removal, the pressure drop recovers and the filter bags regain filtration capacity. We supply single module and multi module baghouse styles. The whole system of Bag Dust Collector is modular, convenient for container shipment and field installation.

Working Principle

Dust-containing gas enters the baghouse, large particles drop into hopper under gravity, fine dust is trapped on the outer surface of filter bags. Clean air penetrates filter media and flows out. When differential pressure rises to set value, pulse control system triggers pulse valve one by one. High-pressure air jet blows inside filter bags, making filter bags expand and vibrate, dust cake falls down into hopper. Dust is discharged by screw conveyor and unloading valve. This automatic cleaning mode keeps the Bag Dust Collector stable for long-time running.
