Overview

Cartridge Dust Collector (CDHR Series) works under negative pressure. Dust-laden gas enters the tank from the air inlet. Guided by negative pressure, airflow passes through folded filter cartridges, fine dust is trapped on the outer surface of filter media, and clean air flows into the clean air chamber and discharges out. When dust accumulates on the cartridge surface and causes rising resistance, pulse valves activate. Compressed air is sprayed into the filter cartridge center sequentially to blow off dust, and dust falls into the dust hopper for collection. This pulse cleaning mode can be triggered by pressure difference or preset timer. We provide two structural styles: Horizontal Cartridge Dust Collector and Vertical Cartridge Dust Collector. The CDHR model range covers different cartridge quantities, filtration area and valve configurations. It adopts modular design for flexible combination, small footprint and easy installation. The maximum resistance loss of the whole equipment is ≤1500Pa.

Applications

  • Metal processing, mineral processing, cement industry

  • Shipbuilding, painting workshop, welding fume extraction

  • Tobacco, spray cleaning, power industry

  • Food processing, chemical industry, building materials production

Features

  1. High dust removal efficiency, excellent capture performance for fine dust particles.

  2. Modular combined structure, compact size, convenient for on-site installation.

  3. Simple operation, low maintenance workload.

  4. Low resistance loss, maximum equipment resistance no more than 1500Pa.

  5. Pulse jet cleaning system, automatic cleaning optional.

  6. Two configurations: horizontal cartridge and vertical cartridge dust collector to fit different site layout.

Working Principle

Dust-containing gas is sucked into thedust collector under negative pressure. Fine dust is intercepted on the outer surface of filter cartridges. Clean air permeates the filter media and flows out. As dust builds up, differential pressure rises. The pulse control system opens pulse valves one by one. Compressed air jet blows the filter cartridge, shaking off dust cake into the hopper. The filter cartridges recover filtration capacity.

FAQ

Q1: What are the differences between horizontal and vertical Cartridge Dust Collector?

A1: Horizontal type is easier for cartridge replacement from side access. Vertical type has better dust falling performance and less re-adhesion of dust on cartridges.

Q2: What filter media options are available?

A2: Standard is cellulose media. We also provide polyester, PTFE, flame retardant and anti-static filter cartridges for special dust conditions.

Q3: Can this dust collector handle welding smoke?

A3: Yes, it is widely used for welding fume, painting dust and fine powder collection.

Q4: Is the pulse cleaning system standard?

A4: Pulse jet cleaning is standard. It can work by differential pressure control or timer control.

Q5: How to select the right model?

A5: Confirm your air volume, dust type and site space, then we recommend suitable CDHR model and cartridge quantity.
