The CF33986 coalescing filter cartridge features ultra-precise dual-stage coalescence and filtration performance, with 99.9% filtration efficiency for solid particulate matter with a particle size of 5μm, thoroughly intercepting fine solid impurities in fluids to avoid abrasive damage to downstream equipment. For micro liquid droplets (including water mist, oil mist and hydrocarbon condensate), it achieves high-efficiency coalescence separation with a liquid removal accuracy of 0.3μm @ 99.95% efficiency, which can aggregate nanoscale micro droplets into large droplets that are quickly captured by the separator’s liquid collection system. Its filtration and coalescence accuracy remains stable under rated flow and pressure conditions, without performance attenuation caused by fluid velocity changes or medium viscosity fluctuations, meeting the ultra-high purity requirements of industrial fluid processing.

CF33986 adopts a multi-layer composite gradient coalescing filter media as the core material, composed of hydrophilic/hydrophobic modified borosilicate glass fiber and high-strength polyester non-woven fabric, compounded by a high-temperature hot-melt bonding process without any adhesive additives, avoiding secondary pollution of the medium caused by adhesive dissolution. The outer layer of the media is a rigid polypropylene protective mesh, which enhances the structural strength of the filter cartridge and prevents media deformation or rupture under high-flow impact. The end caps are made of high-quality epoxy resin, with excellent sealing and pressure-bearing performance, and the sealing ring uses nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) with oil resistance and aging resistance, ensuring zero bypass of unprocessed fluid and reliable coalescence separation effect. The center tube is made of galvanized steel with high corrosion resistance, which supports the filter media and ensures the smooth flow of the processed clean medium.
The recommended replacement cycle of the CF33986 coalescing filter cartridge is determined according to the contaminant content of the raw fluid and the actual industrial working conditions, with a basic service life of 8–16 months under normal operating conditions (medium contamination content ≤ 50 ppm). For harsh working conditions with high impurity content (e.g., raw fuel oil with high moisture, industrial gas with heavy oil mist, or wastewater with high solid particles), the replacement cycle is recommended to be 8–12 months to ensure stable coalescence and filtration performance. For clean fluid media with low contamination content (e.g., refined hydrocarbon fuels, dry industrial gas), the cycle can be appropriately extended to 12–16 months with weekly differential pressure detection and monthly fluid purity sampling tests. The first replacement of the filter cartridge in a newly commissioned system is suggested to be completed within 4 months to remove construction residues such as welding slag and pipeline scale, avoiding permanent damage to the coalescing filter media. The optimal replacement timing can also be judged by the system differential pressure: when the pressure difference across the filter cartridge reaches 0.28 MPa, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner to prevent system pressure loss and reduced separation efficiency caused by filter media blockage.
