I Series coalescing filter cartridges are high-performance industrial coalescing elements designed for the efficient removal of liquid aerosols, water droplets, oil mist and fine solid particles from compressed air, natural gas, process gases and hydrocarbon fluids. Developed as a standardized, versatile product line, the series integrates advanced coalescence technology with precision filtration, delivering stable and reliable separation performance under variable pressure, flow and temperature conditions. These cartridges are engineered to aggregate micro-sized liquid droplets into larger, easily separable ones, while simultaneously capturing solid contaminants, ensuring the output of clean, dry gas or fluids that meet strict industrial quality standards. With universal dimensions and interfaces, I Series cartridges are fully compatible with mainstream coalescing filter housings, air dryers, gas processing units and fluid purification systems, effectively protecting downstream equipment such as pneumatic instruments, gas turbines, compressors, valves and sensors from corrosion, erosion, blockage and performance failure.

I Series coalescing filters feature graded precision levels to accommodate diverse application requirements, with consistent high efficiency across the range. For solid particulate removal, standard filtration ratings include 1μm, 0.1μm and 0.01μm, with removal efficiency reaching up to 99.99% for rated particle sizes, effectively capturing fine dust, pipeline scale, metal particles and colloidal contaminants. In terms of liquid coalescing performance, the series demonstrates exceptional capability in separating liquid aerosols and oil mist, with liquid removal precision ranging from 0.1μm down to 0.01μm and separation efficiency as high as 99.999%. High-grade models can reduce residual oil carryover in compressed air to below 0.001 ppm and moisture content to extremely low levels, satisfying the stringent purity demands of pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronics production, food processing, precision instrumentation and high-pressure natural gas transmission. The separation and filtration accuracy remains stable under rated operating conditions, with no significant degradation due to fluctuations in flow rate, pressure or ambient temperature.
The entire I Series utilizes premium, application-specific composite filter media engineered for optimal coalescing efficiency and service life. Standard general-purpose models employ hydrophobic borosilicate microglass fiber media produced through an adhesive-free hot-melt lamination process, featuring a gradient pore structure that enhances liquid droplet coalescence, maximizes dirt-holding capacity and maintains low initial pressure drop, while eliminating the risk of secondary contamination from adhesive dissolution. For high-temperature and chemically aggressive environments, the series uses PTFE-coated microglass fiber or sintered PTFE media, offering superior chemical resistance, thermal stability and anti-aging properties. All media is reinforced with an internal corrosion-resistant metal support tube (galvanized steel, 304 or 316L stainless steel) and an outer protective mesh to prevent deformation under high flow or pressure. End caps are constructed from high-strength epoxy resin or corrosion-resistant metal, paired with high-performance sealing gaskets (NBR, EPDM or FKM) to ensure zero bypass and reliable sealing throughout the service life.
The replacement cycle for I Series coalescing filter cartridges is determined by the specific model, operating environment, fluid/gas contamination level and monitoring data, with a typical service life ranging from 6 to 24 months under normal operating conditions. For standard models in moderately contaminated systems (e.g., general industrial compressed air), the recommended replacement interval is 12–18 months. In harsh environments with high concentrations of liquid aerosols, dust or chemical contaminants, such as chemical plants, refineries and heavy manufacturing facilities, the cycle should be shortened to 6–12 months to maintain optimal separation efficiency. In clean applications, including electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical processing and laboratory gas systems, the service life can be extended to 18–24 months with regular differential pressure monitoring and periodic quality testing. For newly commissioned gas or fluid systems, the first replacement is recommended within 4–6 months to remove installation residues. The definitive trigger for replacement is a differential pressure across the cartridge of 0.07–0.1 MPa (compressed air systems) or 0.2–0.35 MPa (gas/fluid systems), indicating significant media blockage and reduced performance.
