Crafted for harsh high-temperature environments (up to 120℃), LEFILTER’s High-Temperature String Wound Filter Cartridge integrates premium absorbent cotton/glass fiber media with corrosion-resistant stainless steel skeletons. Its unique outer-loose-inner-dense winding technology not only resists thermal deformation under continuous heat stress but also achieves 90%+ particle retention efficiency for 5–100μm contaminants. Whether filtering hot water in power plants, steam in food sterilization lines, or high-temperature industrial oils in petrochemical facilities, this cartridge maintains stable performance—while supporting repeatable steam cleaning to reduce replacement frequency and operational costs. As a listed enterprise (Stock Code: 837936) with ISO 9001 certification, LEFILTER ensures each unit meets strict industrial quality standards for reliability and safety.
This cartridge features a gradient pore structure formed by controlled winding density: the outer layer (loose winding) captures large particles (50–100μm) to prevent rapid clogging, while the inner layer (tight winding) traps fine contaminants (1–50μm) for deep purification. The media—available in absorbent cotton (for 120℃ max temp) or glass fiber (for 100℃ max temp)—is selected for high thermal stability, ensuring no fiber shedding or media degradation even under prolonged high-temperature operation.
All components meet international safety standards:

The cartridge’s filtration efficiency relies on two key mechanisms, enabled by its gradient winding design:
Hot fluid (e.g., steam, hot oil) enters the cartridge from the outer surface, where the loosely wound media layer (pore size 50–100μm) first intercepts large contaminants—such as rust particles from pipelines, sediment in hot water, or coarse oil residues. This prevents large impurities from blocking the inner fine layer, ensuring consistent flow rate.
After pre-filtration, the fluid flows inward to the tightly wound media layer (pore size 1–50μm). Here, fine particles are trapped via two effects:
Filtered fluid collects in the inner cavity of the stainless steel skeleton, then exits through the top/bottom ports—delivering purified fluid that meets industrial process requirements. The gradient structure also minimizes pressure drop (≤0.05MPa at full flow), reducing energy consumption for fluid transport.
A1: Match media to your max temperature and fluid type:
A2: Yes—for non-abrasive contaminants, it can be steam-sterilized (121℃, 30 mins) up to 5 times. After sterilization, check for media damage (e.g., fiber shedding) before reinstallation.
A3: It depends on fluid contamination levels:
A4: Yes—choose 316L stainless steel skeleton + fluororubber seals for strong acid/alkali resistance (pH 2–12). For mild acids/alkalis, 304 stainless steel + EPDM seals work well.
A5: We provide free fluid testing—send a sample of your hot fluid, and our lab will recommend the optimal precision (e.g., 1μm for pharma WFI, 50μm for industrial cooling water).
