II. Working Principle

2 key stages: filtration + automatic backwashing

  1. Filtration Stage

Raw water enters the tank from the top, flows downward through the graded quartz sand layer (coarse sand → fine sand). Suspended solids are trapped in the sand gaps via adsorption and mechanical interception. Filtered water collects at the bottom and exits through the outlet.

  1. Backwashing Stage

When pressure difference reaches 0.05MPa (or timed), the system auto-starts backwashing: clean water flows upward to fluidize the sand layer, flushing trapped impurities out via the drain. The process ends in 3~5 mins, and filtration resumes automatically.
