LEFILTER Smart Softener: The "Intelligent Brain" Behind Uninterrupted Soft Water—From Manual Adjustment to Auto-Adaptive Control

Ever dealt with a water softener that either wastes salt by regenerating too often, or lets hard water leak through because it’s "forgotten" to regenerate? Traditional systems are stuck in a loop: They rely on fixed timers or manual checks, so they either overwork (wasting resources) or underperform (ruining pipes, fabrics, or production lines). Worse, during regeneration, they shut off water entirely—leaving hotels with cold showers, factories with halted boilers, and homes with interrupted laundry. LeFilter Smart Water Softening System ends this chaos with a built-in "intelligent brain": Real-Time Sensing: It tracks inlet hardness (Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺ levels), water flow, and resin health 24/7 via precision sensors—no more guessing. Auto-Adaptive Actions: The smart controller adjusts regeneration (when, how long, how much salt) based on actual usage. A busy hotel? It delays regeneration until off-peak hours. A factory with spiking demand? It ramps up resin efficiency to keep pace. Unbroken Supply: Choose single-tank (for offices, small homes) or dual-tank (for 24/7 needs like hospitals, large plants)—both keep soft water flowing even during regeneration. This isn’t just a softener—it’s a self-managing system that turns hard water headaches into set-it-and-forget-it peace of mind.

Introduction

      Ever dealt with a water softener that either wastes salt by regenerating too often, or lets hard water leak through because it’s "forgotten" to regenerate? Traditional systems are stuck in a loop: They rely on fixed timers or manual checks, so they either overwork (wasting resources) or underperform (ruining pipes, fabrics, or production lines). Worse, during regeneration, they shut off water entirely—leaving hotels with cold showers, factories with halted boilers, and homes with interrupted laundry.

LEFILTER Smart Water Softening System ends this chaos with a built-in "intelligent brain":

  • Real-Time Sensing: It tracks inlet hardness (Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺ levels), water flow, and resin health 24/7 via precision sensors—no more guessing.

  • Auto-Adaptive Actions: The smart controller adjusts regeneration (when, how long, how much salt) based on actual usage. A busy hotel? It delays regeneration until off-peak hours. A factory with spiking demand? It ramps up resin efficiency to keep pace.

  • Unbroken Supply: Choose single-tank (for offices, small homes) or dual-tank (for 24/7 needs like hospitals, large plants)—both keep soft water flowing even during regeneration.

Features

  • High degree of automation, soft water processor can be timed, fixed flow rate automatic regeneration.

  • Reliable performance, continuous operation, stable water quality.

  • Resin exchange tank made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, using lead-free brass or PPO material control valve body, PE material salt tank;

  • Resin exchange tank made of carbon steel lined with rubber, using diaphragm or PvC material control valve body, PE material salt tank.

  • Low running cost: water consumption<5-1o% of water production (based on raw water hardness index).

  • Regeneration of 1 liter of resin requires about 100-160 grams of salt.

  • Flexible selection, according to the need to choose double-tank, multi-tank system, time, flow control mode,simultaneous regeneration, alternate regeneration and other modes of operation.

  • The whole set of device is reasonable in design, compact in configuration and high in softening processing efficiency.

Working Principle

when raw water containing hardness ions passes through the resin layer in the exchanger, the calcium and magnesium ions in the water are replaced with the sodium ions adsorbed by the resin. The resin absorbs calcium and magnesium ions and the sodium ions enter the water, thereby obtaining softened water. When the resin absorbs a certain amount of calcium and magnesium ions,itmust be regenerated.The regeneration process is to flush the resin layer with salt water in the salt tank, replace the hardness ionson the resin, and discharge them out of the tank with the regeneration waste liquid, so that the resin can resume its softening exchange function.

Application Fields

The softening water device cannot reduce the total salt content in the water during the softening process.It is mainly used for industrial or civil hardness softening water,etc.

①Suitable for pre-treatment of direct drinking water in communities,schools,factories and other units;

②Can be used for pre-treatmentof bottled water, mineral water and other filling water;

③ Purification and preparation water for process water/chemical circulating water, chemical product manufacturing, etc.

③Electronic industry water for rinsing electronic components such as integrated circuits, silicon chips, and display tubes.

Q&A: Your Concerns, Answered

Q1: How to choose between Single Tank and Dual Tank?

  • Single Tank: For small-scale, intermittent use (e.g., a café open 8 hours/day).

  • Dual Tank: For 24/7 demand (e.g., a hospital or apartment complex).

Q2: How often does the system regenerate?

  • Depends on water hardness and usage. The controller auto-adjusts (e.g., regenerates every 3–7 days for medium-hard water).

Q3: Do I need pre-treatment?

  • If raw water is well water (contains silt), add a quartz sand filter to prevent resin fouling.

Q4: Is it energy-intensive?

  • Low power consumption (<15W during operation); regeneration uses salt and ~5% of daily water (cost-effective).

Q5: How to maintain the system?

  • Regularly refill the salt box (every 1–2 months) and check for leaks. The controller alerts for faults.
