DATE:2024-01-31Number of views: Source:LEFILTER

1. Overview of coalescing filter element

The coalescing filter element is a porous mesh filter element formed by melt rolling using polymer filter material (such as polypropylene). It is a commonly used filtration product in biomedicine, electronics, chemical industry and other industries.

2. Working principle

The coalescing filter element utilizes the porous structure of filter paper to realize the filtration mechanism. Liquid enters the filter element from the outside, and through surface adsorption and the blocking effect of the filter paper pore size, suspended solid particles can be effectively removed. Clean water is discharged from the inside.

3. Main technical parameters

1. Filter paper material: polypropylene and other polymer materials

2. Pore size: 0.1-10 microns, choose different specifications according to filtration needs

3. Flow rate: 10-500L/m2/h, depending on material and structure design

4. Working temperature: 0-50°C

5. Working pressure difference: 0.1-3 bar

6. Original solution pH range: 2-13

4. Main advantages

1. Effective porous structure and strong filtration ability

2. The material is stable and corrosion-resistant

3. High traffic and long replacement cycle

4. Easy to clean and disinfect

5. Compact structure and easy to use

5. Application areas

1. Biopharmaceutical field: ultrafiltration, liquid flow, etc.

2. Electronic field: production of fine water grade water

3. Chemical industry: reaction liquid treatment

4. Urban water supply: water saving and re-watering grade water treatment

5. Industrial wastewater treatment

Common model classifications of coalescing filter elements

1. According to the diameter of the filter element:

• 10-inch filtration cartridge: suitable for industrial large flow filtration.

• 8-inch filtration cartridge: widely used in industrial and life science fields.

• 4.5-inch filtration cartridge: For laboratory and low-flow applications.

2. According to the structure of filter paper:

• Single-layer filter paper cartridge: simple structure, lower cost. Suitable for coarse filtration.

• Multi-layer filter paper cartridge: strong isolation ability, used for fine filtration.

3. According to the filter paper pore size:

• 1-5μm: used to coarsely filter particulate matter.

• 0.45μm: used for electrostatic isolation of bacteria.

• 0.22μm: used for sterilization and isolation.

4. According to material:

• Polypropylene (PP) cartridge: has strong penetrability, low cost and is widely used.

• Nylon (Nylon) cartridge: acid and alkali resistant, excellent isolation performance.

• PVDF cartridge: resistant to acid, alkali and high temperature, higher cost.

5. According to the end surface structure:

• Flat cartridge: The joints are straight.

• L-shaped cartridge: One end is L-shaped for easy installation.
