Project Implementation Background:  

In September 2020, China put forward a new climate change target of "striving to achieve carbon peak by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060".

Energy conservation and environmental protection has become a basic national policy of our country, promote the central heating and waste heat utilization, continue to promote clean heating reform, expand the scope of central heating, adjust measures to local conditions for coal gas or coal, electricity generation, heat generation, centralized biomass and other clean coal heating means, to promote the sustainable development of urban central heating.

Project Overview:  

The project is to recycle the waste heat from the carbon plant for central heating in the town.


Heating pipe network return water flows through the condenser for heating first, then flows through the factory rush heater for heating, and then the hot water is supplied to residents through the municipal heating network. But the city heating heat pipe network system is huge, the pipeline is complex, the heating backwater water quality decreases greatly, there is even the occurrence of silt and other sundries, causing the heating equipment damage, the heat exchanger blockage phenomenon and seriously affecting the heating safety; so it is necessary to install self-cleaning water filter in the main pipeline and branch pipeline to purify the heating water.


Water quality requirements of the heating pipe network:  

According to the "Urban heating pipe network Design Code" (CJJ34-2010), the pipe network recharge water quality should meet the following provisions:  

[Oil] : ≤2mg/L  

[Turbidity] : ≤5mg/L  

[Hardness] : ≤0.6mmoL/L  

[Dissolved oxygen] : ≤0.1mgL  

[CL- content] : <25ppm  

[PH (25℃)] : 7-11  

In order to ensure that the water quality of the pipe network meets the standard and the normal operation of other equipment, self-cleaning water filters are installed in the first station and the pressurizing station.


Principle of self-cleaning water filter decontamination:  

The self-cleaning water filter has the function of filtering the raw water and automatically cleaning the filter element, and the system does not stop water supply when cleaning the sewage.  

Timing control: Set the filtration time on the filtration timer. When the filtration time is up, the sewage discharge is started, and the sewage discharge time is set by the sewage discharge timer.   

Differential pressure control: At the same time, the control system will compare the pressure difference of the system with the pressure difference set by the user in real time. When the pressure difference of the system reaches the setting value, the filter will also clean the the filter element and discharge sewage automatically, and the sewage discharge time is set by the sewage discharge timer.  When the sewage discharge time is up, the filter will stop self-cleaning process and restore the system to its initial state to prepare for the next filtration process and ensure the regular removal of impurities in the pipe network water.

The function of self-cleaning water filter in heating pipeline:  

Self-cleaning water filter is equipped with PLC remote control program, which can provide real-time feedback about the equipment operation. And it is linked with the pipe network for automatic monitoring and automatic flushing sewage, which greatly improve the work efficiency, reduce labor costs, improve the reliability and safety of pipe network and equipment operation.
